Demonstrate the ability to teach a
junior class with understanding of correct mechanics of techniques.
Demonstrate Physical, Mental,
Emotional and Character improvement from 1st Dan along with
understanding, improvement and knowledge of Japanese.
Write an essay on Wado
Ryu Karate, include some history including pre Ohtsuka Yoshin Ryu, some tips may be to pay close attention to the core
principles of Noru, Nagasu
and Inasu, explaine the
timings and principle of Su Ha Ri etc.
Essay to be submitted one month before
physical examination (10%)
Once Senior Dan grade has been achieved
minimum age 16 then it is a minimum of 2 years to take 2nd Dan.
There must be significant improvement from 1st Dan in all aspects.
The student will also have had training in teaching students from basic warm
up level to teaching the basics, kata etc.
